Its been a slow road for this Hold Em rookie who has seen his share of ups and downs. Consistency is the key as I am still learning the ropes and more time is needed to dedicate to learning the finesse required to hang with the veterans I plays with. Although keeping a tight leash on my stack in the beginning has brought me some success, it can hurt when passing up opportunities to bluff. A few more games and I believe I can represent more of a threat, but until then I will have to pick my opportunities carefully to be successful.
David Yoon's Review
And you thought Greg played it tight. For the first few blind levels Darcy's a ghost. He'll get in the game only when the blinds make it equitable. You're not going to get much info playing into Darcy, he just smooth calls your bets and shows down the winning hand. He'll have you beat on the flop and check his full house to you all the way to the river. Then again he's only been a contender at Greg's place - the feng shui agrees with him. Let's see how he fares at away games.
